New Marketing Director Appointed

We're excited to announce that our Head of Marketing, James Phillip, has been appointed as Director of Marketing and will join the Board.

James has worked hard and strategically to help grow our marketing team and services over the last eight years. With his team, he has produced outstanding results online for our client's businesses, even in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, when online marketing was more important than ever. James further proved his experience and knowledge during this challenging climate. He continues to advise many clients on the best route for their online marketing sustainability and even growth, using his diverse expertise such as Pay Per Click, Google Analytics, Social, SEO and Email marketing.

We asked James how he felt about his new position here at mtc:

"I am very proud to have been promoted to marketing director, it has been a personal goal of mine since 2017 and I am over the moon at having achieved it and also very thankful for all the help I have received from team members along the way. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and seeing how I can use my expertise from leading the marketing team over the last 5 years to help drive things forward."

James has been a part of the mtc team since 2014, starting his career as an SEO expert working with a mixture of small and large clients, including Peter Vardy, Superga and Brewdog. In his first few years at mtc, it was clear James was serious about developing his career; he exceeded milestones in leading a team and improving our services and strategies. Due to James and his team's hard work, we continue to be awarded Google partner status and are positioned as one of the Top 20 agencies to work within the UK for Google advertising.

The combination of expansive marketing skills and ingenuity in managing the marketing strategy for mtc made him the ideal candidate for Director of Marketing. Congratulations James!
