Sport Aberdeen

Sport Aberdeen represents Aberdeen’s public sports facilities and programmes. The organisation offers a vast choice of sport and fitness opportunities all of which are promoted through its websites.

Sport Aberdeen required an improved web presence to attract new members and to encourage Aberdeen’s people to take greater advantage of the sports facilities throughout the city.

The previous Aberdeen website was functional but the complexity of what was available in terms of venues, timetables, costs and ability to book is poorly articulated. Great user experience design was key to the success of this project. Using a service design methodology, a new scalable site structure and user journey to assist the required uplift in new memberships and bookings.
