Raith Rovers Football Club, founded in 1883 in Kirkcaldy, is a historic name in Scottish football. With ambitions to return to the Premiership for the first time since 1995, the club recognized that its outdated and fragmented digital presence no longer reflected its professionalism or forward-looking goals. Like many football clubs, Raith relied on multiple third-party systems for ticketing, merchandising, hospitality, and fan engagement—resulting in a disjointed experience and limited visibility into supporter interactions.
The project aimed to redevelop the club’s front-end website to deliver one of the leading digital experiences in Scottish football. This included launching a new eCommerce platform for merchandise sales, integrating key systems such as ticketing, lotto, and club TV, and enabling rich matchday features like statistical feeds and fan competitions. A flexible content management system was also introduced, giving the club full control over its content and communications.
The result is a unified, professional digital platform that enhances fan interaction, streamlines operations, and positions Raith Rovers for future growth. With improved control, deeper fan insights, and a scalable foundation, the club is now better equipped to build on its heritage while embracing the next era of digital engagement.
