V&A at Dundee Interactive Web Site

V&A at Dundee is a ground-breaking project currently being undertaken by Dundee Design Ltd (DDL), a partnership of local authority, development agency and universities including the University of Abertay, the University of Dundee as well as Dundee City Council and Scottish Enterprise.

DDL approached MTC with a requirement to design and develop web site for the project. The key objectives of the web site were to promote and explain the project to construct 'The V&A at Dundee', display the architectural concept designs, invite public comment and interaction, as well as acting as a key tool in DDL's fundraising programme.

The web site allows users to view the six designs, including visualisations, images of the 3D models as well as a video walkthrough. Users can then discuss the designs on the interactive forum, as well as submitting there favourite design via an online questionnaire. By completing the short questionnaire the public are being consulted and are helping to decide which design will ultimately win this global architectural project. All submitted opinions and views will be considered by the judging panel.

As a Dundee company we are delighted to have had the opportunity to work on such an exciting project, and contribute to the overall V&A at Dundee concept. The end result is a fantastic web site which meets all of the key objectives, and provides an online resource for members of the public to view the designs and vote on their favorites.
